Mr Jon Rouse APM is the interim Victims’ Commissioner for Queensland.

Mr Rouse APM served for 39 years with the Queensland Police Service, notably leading Taskforce Argos.

Mr Rouse continues to be an ambassador for victim-survivors with a particular focus on child exploitation and sexual abuse.

Mr Rouse has strong connections with the sector that supports victims in Queensland.

Mr Rouse was the Queensland Australian of the Year in 2019 and he is the recipient of the Queensland Police Medal, the National Service Medal, the Exemplary Conduct medal, the Queensland Police Meritorious Service Medal, the National Police Medal and the Australian Police Medal.
